Then hopefully return together back here to Australia once all her requirements are done.. Can you please tell me how long it takes to process a application for her roughly as I am taking time off my work here in Australia to help my friend in China do her visa requirements.also I will be looking after her here in my country and she will be staying with me at my place for the whole amount of her stay. Will she still have to show financial support if I am looking and caring for her the whole time she will be staying with me.

Pam, the process takes about ten working days. In my opinion, she had better submit the financial standing proof. If she can't provide it, you may state in the invitation that you will bear her travel expenses and submit a financial standing proof of yours.
