No, you do not need a visa, for you can stay in HK for 30 days without a visa.

For shopping, you are suggested to go to Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok area, where you can find clothes bags in different standards. For Dining, near Tsim Sha Tsui, you can find a world of restos.

For sightseeing, you are suggested to Victoria peak, Ocean Park, Disneyland Resort, and Ngong ping 360.

For hotels under such price, I suggest you to find a youth hostel for your stay. The YHA Youth Hostel and Backpacker Hostel are suggested.

Help,
Ben I need a recommended hotel name in HongKong where I am close to everything. The number of hotels I am looking at is overwhelming and I have no idea which one to pick and where to stay. I need something really nice, comfortable, clean, free wifi, I see some offer a free handset and affordable, also under US$100.00 will be great. Can you help me select one?
Thanks for your assistance.....

Regards

I recommend Wing Lee "Hotel" in the Mirador Mansion along Nathan Road {near Mody Road]. I believe its on the 10th floor. Cheap, clean, safe. No WiFi but there is an internet cafe on the same floor, and they have a PC available in the 'hotel' Lots of shopping and restaurants, and the MTR is very close.

I suggest you live in Imperial Hotel, located at No. 32 – 34 Nathan Road, where you can have easy access to the transportation, restos and shopping malls. The fare is about CNY450 – 500 per night, and that fits your budget.
