About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If you change airlines on flights but transit out within 72hours from Shanghai, can you be eligible?

USA to Shanghai PVG to Hong Kong 3 days later, but i change the airline on flight to Hong Kong,
is it still eligible? or are you required always to use same airline?

Jay, it doesn't matter you change your airline. However, you should have your passport and onward air ticket before you reach Shanghai.
