wuyou temple to giant buddha

Hi,I have plan spend one full day in this area, first to take taxi from Xiaoba station to go directly to Wuyou temple first, take boat ride to see Giant Buddha from Wuyou dock and then continue to Fishing Village for lunch and explore a bit around until I reach North Gate.I won't consider to take the stairway down as I will bring my parent there aged 60 - 70.Can anybody help me to see the route? Is it doable? How long will it take to walk from Wuyou Temple to North Gate?How much is the cost usually for the taxi?Thanks a lot!

Your plan is doable except the exit thing. As I know, the North Gate is only for entry. Visitors are just allowed to exit from the East Gate.
