About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

Are Bullet trains wheelchair friendly?

Have 1st class tickets on G16 Shanghai to Beijing and will be traveling with a wheelchair is this going to be possible?

I read that for the high speeds between Shanghai and Beijing, there are special passage for wheelchair( seems on the carriage 5, not sure). The height is also the same with platform, so it should OK. You can also ask for help from the staff at the checkin gate, they would be able to do it for you.
