About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

airline employee traveling for pleasure to Shanghai, can i still use visa waiver to travel there?

I work for and airline and travel on stadby not on a confirmed ticket. I will travel from los angeles to Shanghai, Japan and return to los angeles. Please advise. Thank you.

Erik, sorry to tell that you can't enjoy the free transit policy by standby tickets.
