About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Canadian Passports acceptable?

I am living in London - I have both an Irish and Canadian passport. I am planning on using my Canadian passport for the visa, can I apply with that in the UK or do I need to use the my Irish passport as that is why I am able to reside in the UK?

Hi Emily, as you said, the Irish passport enables you to live in the UK, so you need to apply with the Irish passport instead of the Canadian passport. However, as an Irish citizens, you may be required to apply for the entry permit from Ireland. Anyway, you can have a try at the CVASC in the UK.
