Do e-tickets actually exist for trains bookings from Hong Kong to Guangzhou?

I've been reading you still have to collect tickets from certain stations even though you can ask for an e-ticket.
Can anyone confirm this?
Many thanks

Different from air tickets, China trains have no e-tickets. So although the booking is confirmed, you have to collect the paper ticket to board the train.
