household registration for z visa

Question

Hi v came to China 10 days back n didn't know that v have to do this household registry within 24 hours. Will the officers excuse us or what's the procedure?

Selva, the office won't excuse you but you need to provide the registration form of temporary residence when you apply for your work certificate as well as the residence permit. Do you live in a hotel after you enter China? If so, the hotel will register for you and you can still get the registration form. If you live in somewhere else, you may need to explain to the police station, pay some money, and then ask for the issuance of a registration form.
