About:Marriage Registration in China

Will they reject me by married a Chinese girl in china? can you help?

I am a British citizen from UK and I want to marry my Chinese girlfriend in china. I have all the documents and my Chinese girlfriend have all her documents to can we get married in china and stay together to live.

Robert, as long as you both have the required documents, you both should be able to register your marriage at local civil affairs bureau. Then you can apply for the Q1 type with the marriage certifcate and invitation letter from your wife. It can be changed into a long-term resident permit. With that permit, you can stay with your wife together for long time.
