About:Shanghai - Hong Kong Train

Train ticket from Shanghai to Hong Kong

We are living in Canada and are planning to visit Shanghai and then to HK. We are planning to take the rail from SH to HK. Rather than purchase them online and delivery them to the SH Hotel, can we ask friends in HK to purchase the tickets for us and mail them to Canada to us?
