About:Forbidden City

Is the forbidden city open Aug 22/23?

I heard due to the Sept 3-5 holiday, Tiananmen and Wangfujing are closed... I was planning on going that weekend! Thanks!

Yes, it will open on the days. It will be closed only on this coming September 3rd and mondays (except July and August)

What about the subway stops? Will Tiananmen West/East subway station be open Aug 22-23 also? If not, what other transportation do you recommend using those dates? Thank you! :)
