About:Four Scenic Regions of Mount Emei

Emei in november?

Hello,

I think about a two day detour to Emeishan.
Making the summit is not my top priority, so some hikes to the temples are ok for me.

Is the weather normally still ok for such tours or is it too cold/foggy?
What would be bad weather options there?

Thanks in advance!

Well, the previous weather statistics show that the temperature during that period of time was a little bit cold. And it had many rainy days in that month. So maybe you will see foggy on the mountain. Generally speaking, the suggested sightseeing time is from July to October.

Went there in early november of 2014. I thought it would be cold up on the mountain and even brought a down coat, which was only used for a few hours on the golden summit. You can just bring t-shirt and a thick coat. If it rains and turns cold, you can rent a piece of thick clothes at CNY30. You know it's better to climb mountains lightly.
Also when I was there, it was mostly cloudy, except some light rains in night.
When in November will you go? If it is middle or late november, I think some warmer clothes will be necessary.

Thank you!
My trip will be at the very beginning of november. I will have wind and waterproof jacket and as long there is no snowstorm I should be able to deal with a bit colder weather.
If the summit is cloudy, that's just bad luck...
