About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would the 72 hour transit free visa apply in this case?

Traveling from US to Hong Kong in Sept. Return flight home is Hong Kong - Beijing (2 days) - Los Angeles (with plane change in Hong Kong).

Hi Kimberly. Do you mean that the flight from Beijing to LA will change plane in Hong Kong? If so, I'm afraid you cannot take advantage of the free transit.
