About:Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg

I'm a Dutch citizen, living in Trier and working in Luxembourg.

Hi all,

I've seen in other questions that I can apply for a Chinese Visa in Luxembourg when I have a work-permit for Luxembourg. However, as I'm an EU citizen, I do not need a work-permit to work in Luxembourg and as such don't have one.

I have a proof of registration in Trier and could bring my contract of my employer in Luxembourg. Would that suffice? It would be really much more convenient to apply here in Luxembourg rather than having to go to Frankfurt.

Thank you very much for your reply!
Kind regards,
Jasper

Jasper, I think you can apply from Luxembourg by providing the proof of registration, your work contract and a certificate from your employer. The documents can prove that you are working in Luxembourg.
