Wife of 25 yrs born China. US citizen. Want to buy condo in Tier 3 city to live 4-6 months a year.
I have been married for 25 years to a Guangzhou born wife. I have made 56 trips to China in the last 24 years. We want to buy a new condo on Hailing Island, part of Zhanjiang, a tier 3 city south of Guangzhou. We plan to live on Hailing Island 4 to 6 months a year and to have friends and family visit us. It will not be rented in our absence. We will pay cash so there is no need to qualify for a domestic loan. Both of us are professionals, we have ample income and savings and we will not work. Our health is good and we will buy highest level Medical care plan. She has kept her Chinese name but travels on a U.S. passport. She is intensely proud about being Chinese and wants our granddaughter (who is 2 weeks old) to grow up knowing about her background and lineage.
