Question

About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Why is the chinese visa application photo frame 40 x 45?

The frame laid out on the Chinese application for a visa is 40 x 45 mm, yet everywhere it says that the photo must be 33 x 48 mm. When I put this size of photo into the frame it doesn't look right. Surely this just leads to confusion or should the photo really be the same size as the frame?

Thanks

Roderick, the embassy requires a photo in the size of 33 x 48 mm, so you can just apply this photo onto the application form. It doesn't matter if the frame size is not consistent with the photo size.
