About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm flying from LAX -> Guangzhou -> Bangkok

We plan to take advantage of 72 hours VISA exemption, can we take a train from Guangzhou to ShenZhen or Hongkong for a day? I'm US citizen but my wife is Thai Citizen. Thanks

Hi, Chai. You can take a train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen during the 72 hours. If you want to visit Hong Kong, you need to apply for the 72-hour free transit policy each time you enter mainland China.
