About:China Visa Exemption

Will an email letter suffice?

I'm involved in a film production which requires 90 days in China. Will an email of the letter of invitation from a China TV station be sufficient to be issued a 90 day business visa, or must I present the physical letter itself?

Hi Robert! The printed copy of the email is OK for the application. However, the original copy is required for submission if the consular officer deems necessary. By the way, as you will be engaged in film production, I think the officer may ask you to apply for a short-term Z type.
