Scholarship to study at China

I am Gimhani Perera and awarded full scholarship to do my masters at China. They will send awarded letter and visa application form within next week. How long does it take to proceed and what are the documents I need to handover.

Hello Gimhani! Generally speaking, the process takes four working days only.

You need to submit the following documents:
1. A valid passport and a photocopy of its data page;
2. A properly filled-out application form attached with your recent color bare-headed photo;
3. Original and photocopy of the admission Letter issued by your schoolin China;
4. Original and photocopy of JW201 Form;
5. Police Clearance Certificate.
6. Physical examination report from local state-owned hospital and the copy.

Thank you for immediate response. May I know what is JW201. Today I went to take medical from government hospital and they told that I can get it done by private hospital. Please clarify this

It's an application form for study in China. JW 202 is issued for those who are sponsored by Chinese government. You can get it from your school. The embassy does not appoint hospitals for doing physical examination. It's possible that you can do it in private hospitals.
