About:China Work Visa

Work permit for recent graduates

I am a recent graduate from a Swiss university (nationality Russian). I wanted to work in China. However after a successful interview with a major Chinese company I was informed that recently the new law was establish. The law states that the foreign worker should have at least 3 years of work experience in order to apply for Z type. Here i would like to ask if internship and freelance work is counted. And if this law is valid for all mainland, or there are areas/cities that are exempt.
Thank you

Lidia, as far as I see, internship and freelance work can count as work experience. Many mainland Chinese cities require two years of work experience while some do not. You can try your luck and see if the work permit can be obtained even though you don't have work experience.
