About:China Visa Exemption

2 day Shanghai layover. Would this be covered under 72 hour exemption? Thanks

I'm planning on staying in Shanghai for round 2 days in November as a layover on a flight from Bangkok to Toronto. Canadian citizen, flying in/out of Pudong.
