About:Embassy & Consulates of India in China

Is it really true that I have to get a visa?

I am a seafarer working on the ship and my ship has come to Shekao on the 13 and i was planned to sign of on the 25. i also have a valid tkt to fly but now my agent is saying that i need one and it will take 5 to 6 days. but i need to urgently go back to india and i don't know why i require one to go out of the country. I have a valid landing permit can you please help me .

ROhinton, so you arrive with your ship on 13 and then get back to India on 25 alone? If you already have Crew type, then I don't think you need one to get back. This type is issued to the staff of the airline or ship.

Dear Edison ,
So now what am i to do. The immigration is not willing to budge and they say that i require an exit visa and the via i will get around Aug 4 which is nearly 10 days hence .
can ypu Please find out If There is any other way .

Why would they ask an exit permit for you? I think it is not needed.
