with X1 visa,do i get to go to any university?

Hi,while i was applying for my x1. i filled in that i was going to study to a university in beijing that had offered me the admission letter and jw202. but a the same time i was admitted in one of shanghai's universities,will i be able to study in shanghai or i must go in beijing?
