Accommodation in Xiamen

we booked Mola Mola hostel, it was confirmed, but yesterday received the cancellation with the statement that in summer they do not take foreigners. Could you please recommend us some hostel in a location close to the sea side - we would like to travele to Gulang Yu Island....

I suggest you live at Zhongshan Road. It is one of the most prosperous commercial street in that city. There are a lot of hotels at that road, you can find hotels at different standards. And the location is pretty good, near the port where you can take the ferry to Gulangyu.
