About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Z visa and accompanying S1 type

I have been given all the necessary documents to secure my Z type. My spouse and two children are accompanying me and I believe they need an S1. Will they apply for this with my Z application?

Yes, they can apply for the S1 type while you are applying for the Z type. The consular officer may ask them to provide an invitation letter from your employer too.
