i am visiting first time in guangzhou china for business trip , what should i keep in my mind?

1. Clothing: I have no idea when you will travel there, but it is generally hot there and rainfall is relatively dense. If for recent, prepare summer clothing and light rain gear.
2. Language: Limited people speak English in the city. When asking for the right directions, do keep the Chinese characters.
3. Transportation: Subway is the easiest way, because there are English signages and broad-casting. Buses and taxis have no English services. Also keep tag with Chinese characters. In case of being overcharged, ask the driver to charge by the meter in downtown area.
