About:China Visa Application in USA

Hotel Information

We will be traveling to China with a group Oct 9-31. We plan on arriving a couple days earlier and stay 2 additional days for a total of 27 days. I have received hotel info from tour group, however not sure at this time if we will stay in the same hotel pre/post tour. If we opt to do Air BnB for the first 2 days and last 2 days, we a confirmed reservation suffice or do I need a letter from each hosts?

Also, only have confirmed air info now, no ticket numbers, do I need to wait until I receive ticket numbers before submitting reservation?

Donna, how about your visas? Do you all apply for group visitor types or just apply individual tourist types on your own? If you apply on your own, then you should wait until you have air ticket information and hotel resevation to apply for Chinese tourist types. After you get your tourist types, then you can enter even a few days ahead of your trip. If you all apply for group L types, then you can't go alone, meaning you have to come and leave as a group.
