John, according to what I know, China has lifted the ban of forbidding foreigners with HIV Virus. However, it's difficult to tell that whether it has been implemented very well. To my understanding, it's difficult for those who have HIV viruses to acquire Chinese entry permits, especially those long-term ones, such as Z, X1, S1 and Q1.
