About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Day trip to Nanjing from Shanghai?

If I fly in to PVG from the U.S.A. and then fly out of PVG 48 hours later for another city in Asia (Not in China), can I make a day trip to Nanjing while I am in Shanghai?

Conway, you can't go other cities because the free transit is only available in Shanghai.
