Cruise ship stopping in Hong Kong & Xiamen for a few hours. What do we need for visas?

Hi to you both, you don't need the entry permit for Hong Kong as you hold New Zealand passport. As for mainland China, if you stop for not more than 24 hours, the entry permit is not required either.
