About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do you need a visa when returning?

My flight is Toronto - Shanghai - Ho Chi Minh City. Then two weeks later Bangkok - Shanghai - Toronto. Is the 72 Hour Transit only valid for one time or is it valid for both trips?
