About:Ge Garden

i want to visit my sister who is a student in china but S2 or L supporting documents are a pain.

S2 requires notarized birth certificates to prove we are related. If i apply for L type instead it requires proof of hotel reservation. Are these mandatory for respective types or are they to increase chance of getting one.

Hey Kamil, how long would you like to stay? If the time is not too long, just apply for an L type. The hotel reservations are not mandatory. Instead, you can provide an invitation letter from your daughter stating you gonna live in her apartment or somewhere else.
