"Enter Before" U.S. citizen on a 90-day stay L-visa

to restate the above, I am a U.S. citizen on a one-year L type with 90-day stay. on my entry permit it states "Enter before Aug. 4, 2015". does that mean that if i enter on August 3, 2015 i get 90 more days in China?

(It seems it would say "Exit by" if that was the deadline for departure.)
thanks for any help.

Hi Steve, you are right. If you enter on August 3, you can still get a 90-day stay.

thank you simona!
i did more research on it and also found that answer. yes - if you have a ninety-day stay on your entry permit and you enter on the "enter before" date, you have another 90 days (or whatever your "stay" amount is).

thanks again.
