travelling to taiwan from end of july to early august 2015

I'm be visiting Taipei, Taichung, Hualien & Cingjing from 29/07/2015 to 06/08/2015. How is the weather during this period and will these areas are still influence by the typhoon? What should we prepare as we never experience typhoon before. Thanks!

To be honest, July and August are rainy months of this area. And the weather is still influenced by the typhoon. The continuous rain will bring some inconveniences for you journey.Beside the rain gear, you need to bring light jackets, T-shirts and jeans. Touring around in downtown is ok. But it's suggested to avoid climbing mountains.
