Panda Breeding Center in Chengdu

I will stay in Shanghai until October and I actually planned to visit the city for holding a baby Panda. Now I read on several sites that this is vorbidden since January due to a virus or something that caused two Pandas deaths.

Can anybody tell me if there is any possibility to hold a Panda in China until October 9th?
