which type i should make?

hi I am currently on a student type which expires on July 31, 2015. my husband is Chinese and i need to make new visa but i don't know which type should i make, im going to settle down in china. Is it possible to apply for that type within the mainland or must it be done from outside the mainland? in the same time if it must be done from outside mainland which country i should go exactly but must be near to china because im Egyptian and Egypt so far i cant go back now . thanks

Mayar, you should apply for a Q1 type. It's possible to obtain it at the local PSB, but not for sure. In case that your application is denied, you can go to the nearby countries to apply for the Q1 type. I advise you to go to Malaysia, Singarpore or Thailand.

What about Hong Kong ? Can I go there and make it ?

Mayar, I don't suggest you go to Hong Kong. It's now required that foreign applicants should have HK residency if they would like to apply from Hong Kong.
