Shanti, according to what I know, the sponsor should be HK resident. However, you can still apply even you don't have a sponsor. Considering of your previous entry record, I think you can apply for a visitor type without a problem.

However, you should provide your accommodation reservation, return air ticket and financial standings (such as your recent six months bank balance).
