About:Zhangjiajie Attractions

Suggestion for a 4 day at Zhangjiajie

1. Staying at Pullman hotel as it is near to Tianzi mountain. Can I explore Tianzi mountain on my own without a guide?
2. Intend to spend 3 days exploring area nearby. Is Yuanjiajie the same as Tianzi mountain area?
3. Is it easy to travel to Tianmen mountain from Pullman hotel as a day trip? I would like to watch the night show at Tianmen moutain.
4. Or should I check out from Pullman and stay one night at the city centre near to Tianmen mountain instead? Then I depart to airport for my flight at 11pm.
5. What time does the show at Tianmen end? Will I make it to the airport on time?

1. Yes, you can tour around by yourself. The tranportation is generally covenient and the English signages in the scenic area are clear. But joining in a tour or having a guidance will bring some convenience for your sightseeing.

2. No, these are two difference scenic area. Both of them are important touring parts of ZJJ Scenic Area.

3. The distance between these two scenic areas is not very far. So you can arrive at Tianmen Mountain before the night show. But the show will end at around 21:30 in usually. So after watching the performance, I'm afraid that you don't have enough time to catch the flight. You need to change your travel plan and see the night performance one day in advance.
