About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Traveling time span, is that too early or should I be good to go?

If I apply for a VISA to China in July of 2015 but do not plan on traveling until March of 2016.

Kelly, it's too early. You are suggested to apply as early as 3 months ahead of your trip. However, the embassy suggests that the applicants should apply just one month ahead of your trip.
