Is Australian passport holder to Europ (Span) eligible for 72-Hour Free transit in Guangzhou?

I am Australian with Australian passport. I plan to fly to Barcelona (Span) via Guangzhou and wish to stop over in Guangzhou for 1 night. As according to the documents required in above, a valid Visa is required for a third country. As there is no entry requirement for Australian entering European countries. So, am I eligible for 72-Hour Free transit in Guangzhou without a valid entry to entry Span? Thanks Ren
