About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

We're from the Philippines, and we're planning to enter Shanghai through train/transit from HongKong

Is it possible to enter Shanghai/Mainland through train/transit from HK even without visa? Because a Chinese entry permit is required to enter mainland if you're from the Philippines, but someone told me that it is not required if the point of entry is HK. Is that true? Thank you!

Marcelle, you still need to apply one for mainland before you go to HK. It is a must and you can't avoid getting it even if you go from HK.
