fastest way to hong kong disneyland from dongguan?

My family and I will be in DG City soon and we have plans to spend a weekend in Hong Kong Disneyland (on Lantau Island) for our kids' birthdays. We have limited time, so we want to get there as quickly as possible. I think it's faster to go by ferry, arrive at HK International Airport and take one of the Disney coach buses, but I can't find much information about how to do this. Does anyone know? Or would a bus or some other way be faster?Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, ferry is the fastest way, but your way is undoable. The ferries to HKIA are only for transfer passengers without entering HK. So for your case, the direct cross-border buses are the best choice. Direct buses to the Disneyland are available from downtown Dongguan and the boarding sites are City Terminal building, Huangcun Convention International hotel, Houjie International Hotel and Houjie Sheraton Hotel. It takes around 140min to arrive.
