I am planning to take a bus from Hangzhou to Huangshan.

The tourist canter is located inside the gymnasium, No.3, Huanglong Road. But as I know, the earliest schedule is at 07:40 nowadays. And the duration is about 3.5 hours.

As for bus ticket, no reservation is accepted. You are suggested to go to the Tour Dispatch Center as early as possible to buy the ticket on the spot.

If that is the case which is easier for me to get to Huangshan?

You must refer to Hangzhou Hofang International Youth Hostel, right?
From the hotel to the tourist center, you can take tourists bus no.6 at East Wushan Square, get off at Qiushi Road Station. Then walk northeast around 300 yards.
Or you can take a taxi from the hotel directly. The fare is about CNY 20 per person.
Don't worry. You can easily find the pick-up station and go to Huangshan. :-)

Hi there, the high speed train to Huangshan has been put into service on July 1. It departs at 09:35 and arrives at 13:13. Ticket fare is CNY231 for a second class seat. You can search more detailed info on this website.
