So I have two questions:1) Do I need to apply to enter Hong Kong? I guess Indians do not need one to enter Hong Kong for 14 days.2) After 14 days, can I enter back into mainland on an L type? If yes, what is the max duration?

1. You don't need to apply HK entry permit and you are right that you can stay for 14 days.2. If you can get an L type in Hong Kong, of course you can enter China after the 14 days. The max duration of L type is one month in general.
