Hi, is it possible to make a new X-2 type if i send my passport back to my country and let my friend apply a new one for me?
If it is possible, after the new one is done, do i have to go outside (maybe Macau or Hongkong because it's the closest one) just to make the new one works? Or can i apply a new one in Beijing? at the PSB?

Because mine expires in 1 month from now but i don't know which way is the best to save up some money because i don't have much money : (

Hi Chris! You cannot send your passport back to your country and ask your friend to apply a new one for you. It's not allowed. You are holding an X2 type at present, right? If so, you can extend it in the local Exit and Entry Administration of PSB.

If it is possible to extend in PSB, why would the school told me to go to Hongkong/Any country with Chinese Embassy to get a new one ?
Where is the nearest PSB i can find ? I'm in Zhengzhou right now

Hey Chris, it's possible to extend the X2 type at the PSB. However, if the extension application is not approved, you have to go to Hong Kong or another country to get a new one. I think this is the reason that your school asks you to do so. But I suggest you first try to get the extension at the Exit and Entry Administration in Zhengzhou. Its number is 0371-69625990. The address is No. 66, South Huanghe Road, Zhengdong New District.
