About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will I need to apply for a 72 hour transit permit?

I will be flying from the UK to Sydney, stopping in Guangzhou for just a few hours with no intention of leaving the airport. Will I be required to have any type of visa while in transit? If needed how would I go about getting the permit required? Thanks in advance.

Sarah, as the 24-hour free transit policy is available to you, you needn't to get the transit type.
