About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

we were issued chinese visa in the past and now traveling to New York with 21 hr layover in Beijing

Can we apply at Beiing airport for transient or 24 hr pass to sightsee or we need to apply in Manila, we have Phil passports thanks

If your transit is less than 24 hours, then you needn't apply one in advance because you enjoy 24 hours free transit. However, you need to apply for a stay permit if you plan to visit the city during your transit.
