About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

Which octopus card to buy?

Hello I am visiting HongKong with my partner and 6 years old boy this month. Please suggest the most appropriate card to buy taking into consideration that i have already booked my airport transfers with the hotel.I would also like to know if any amount unused on the cards will be refunded at the end of my stay. Thank you

Oh, according to your situation, it's suggested to buy Standard Octopus Card.
For Adult Card, the deposit is 50 HKD and the initial stored value is 100 HKD.
For Child Card, the deposit is 50 HKD and the initial stored value is 20 HKD.
You can get the refund when you leave HK. Don't worry. When taking buses, subways or taxies to tour around the city, you can enjoy some discounts by using this card.
