passport renewal in beijing

this jeethu i am an INDIAN, my passport will get expired by june/2016.
can u tell me when to apply for renewal and the process for it in beijing

Jeethu, application for a new passport is required to be submitted at least two months before the date of expiry of the current passport.

First, prepare the following papers:
•Application form No. EAP-I.
•Original passport, current passport and additional booklets, if any.
•Four recent coloured (With white back ground) passport size photographs
•Photocopies of the first page, last page and the valid Resident Permit/Visa page

Then go to the respective embassy or consulate to submit the renewal application according to your residence area.

Hii Sir,
This is R K Govindarajanam working post doctoral fellow at south china agricultural university guangzhou, china. i want to go india coming January, 2020 and bring my wife china February, 8th, 2020. my passport is expire date on 21st July-2020. should i face any difficulties? what i do pls suggest to me?
